RT11-SJ is less dependent on interrupts, I think, so that might be another
thing to try.

My recollection is that XXDP tries not to use Interrupts or DMA, unless
it has to.
I would check out those areas first for problems if it hangs in RT-11.

There is now a special 11/40 adapter board for the BlinkenBone system.
With that you can plug a physical 11/40 panel to the extended SimH
running on a BeagleBone.
Surprisingly there was some demand for the 11/70 panel adapter, so
adding the '40 panel may be worth mentioning.
