writing program to that SPARC. As a writing device i use TEAC CDW
512SB, and program cdrecord-2.0 for writing. Solaris identifies this

format). It writes DVD+/-R at 4x, DVD-RW at 2x and DVD+RW at 2.4x.
cdrecord (either from cdrtools or ProDVD) reports that the drive can
write at most at 2x:

It refuse to work at 4x (with 4x media of course) even using -force.
dvd+rw-tools shows the same behaviour.

after it turned out, that 2.01a26 has a bug that
prevents anything than TAO recording, I put out a
bug fix release that should cure the problem.
