I got the I/O Magic idvdrw4db from Tigerdirect . I get to find out that its a BTC drive. Windows show my drive as ID string DVDRW IDE 1004, firmware 0039. It would not write at more than 1X dispite all the diffrent media (pine -+r , etc) or software ( nero 6+ , easycreator 6+ copytodvd 3+) I/O
