I ran a yum update on a centos 5 machine. I then removed some old kernel
files, 2.6.x.14 and 2.6.x.10 older kernels. The issue is i got the error

Start by checking /var/cache/yum to see if the RPMs for your most
recently installed kernel are still there. If they are, use rpm -ivh
--oldpackage
It's always worth seeing what wine under CentOS can do, but I wouldn't get my
hopes up that it will fill the shoes of windows because of lots of
compatibility problems. Still, it's worth a shot.
