If Puppy linux is taking a long time to boot, I'm not sure how you think
CentOS is going to fare better. What sort of drive does this thing have? You
may need to look into replacing that if you want faster bootup speeds and
not the OS.

Just a general question to CentOS users, I'm curious if there is a supported
or known working kernel newer than 2.6.20 that has IO accounting support. I
know I could built it from source but I'd rather use a more tested one from
a repo of some variety if possible.
I'm referring to this feature.
