el siguiente tengo acceso a un servidor por un solo puerto, por ejemplo
el 443 y quisiera por ejemplo que si se accede por ese puerto por el
mozilla o por el opera, cuando el servidor detecte que es una petición
http 1.0
Creo que ya lo tengo, puede alguien decirme si los pasos estan bien??

Hazlo en modo gráfico system-config-lvm es la manera mas segura para
reducir un LVM.
Por si no tuvieras instalado el modo gráfico en tu servidor (no necesitas
tenerlo instalado) puedes llamar ese comando desde una estación Windows
con el vnc por ejemplo o otras herramientas como el xming.

es por el trafico de tu red, deberias definir bien tus politicas de acceso,
quienes deben tener acceso a determinados sitios y quienes no, asi como que
puertos debes tener abiertos en tu firewall.

It is certainly possible, but why would you do that since DVD let alone CDROM
drives are so slow...why don't you try it via network using HTTPD or
vsFTP...its much quicker and u can make it all automated...something to think
about.
