If someone can fix this, thanks in advance ;-)

Hi all,
I've been struggling with Ceph logging.
As far as I saw we can log to syslog but we can't specify any
facility. So my question is: which facility does ceph use by default?
Second thing is, I'm sick of all those log [INF] messages from the
ceph-mon, like:

Hi all,
I just noticed that the sync process for eu.ceph.com didn't work properly.
The problem seems to be a faulty rsync script on my side which caused
the debian directory not to be synced properly.
I corrected the issue, but it has to re-sync again now, that will take
some time.

Hi Sage,
Thanks for your answer.
LOG_USER is currently hard-coded. It would be pretty easy to make this
configurable... LOG_DAEMON may also be a better default choice.
LOG_DAEMON will be a better choice and even better using a different
facility to isolate ceph logs from other services that

Happy new year all
Over the past year, our company has written an extensive guide on how we
monitor ceph using Zabbix.
I would rather contribute it as a HOWTO or Guide into the Ceph wiki, rather
than just this email thread. It is written in wiki format, and email would lose
that formatting.
