Following the guide at

Hi,
I am planning to test the cephfs to replace hdfs. I am using Yarn
(Hadoop 2.2.x) branch. I am wondering is there any jar available to test
ceph with this version. Also how is the support of data locality in ceph.
Thanks,

Hi!
Playing with ceph, I found a bug:
I have compiled and installed ceph from sources on debian/jessie:

/usr/local/bin/ceph-authtool --create-keyring /data/ceph.mon.keyring
Hello Greg,
Thank you, but I don't understand. Can you give me an example? Here is the

Hi Gurviner,
There is a pull request for Hadoop 2 support here
https://github.com/noahdesu/cephfs-hadoop/pull/1
I have not yet tested it personally, but it looks OK to me.
Data locality support in Ceph is supported.

Hi ceph-users,
We are using Ceph (radosgw) to store user generated images, as GET latency is

I first confirmed that the latency came from OSD (read op), so that we

Hi,
Today I've noticed an interesting result of not have hashpspool
enabled on a number of pools -- backfilling is delayed.
Take for example the following case: a PG from each of 5 different
pools (details below) are all mapped to the same three OSDs: 884,
1186, 122. This is of course bad for

Hi,
I want to implement two scenarios:

1. Store the sample cirrOS image in ceph block device and use it to boot the
VMs.
2. Use the ceph block device as a volume and attach it to the VMs.
