Jeff, I was unsuccessful at installing Updater 3 on one machine, but I think it was a windows problem. I had no problems on 2 other machines, but these were running MS SQL 2000 and not Oracle. I have not heard of any significant problems with U3 and Oracle, though I haven't been watching for them either.
If you can survive this problem, Redsky (free upgrade) may fix it when it is available shortly. If not, see if you can uninstall U3 and move back to U2.
