My system guys are very down on CF lately and I'm trying to provide feedback
and input as to the causes of various errors. The owner of the company and
the system guys all think they've done everything they can to tune CF, but I
suspect that since they dislike it so much, they probably haven't

Two folks come to mind, Jordan Michaels and Steven Erat. I don't know
if either of them would be willing to help, but you can search the
archives for their names and ping them (assuming you've got a copy of
one of their emails
I would also suggest to use cf-linux list instead of here. There would
be some people who are not in this list but in cf-linux.
I also wonder what would be the problem? :)

We're using CF MX 6.1 with Linux and we've got
somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 or so CF sites split between 3
servers.
That just seems like a lot of sites for 3 boxes. Regardless if it's Win or
Linux, lets take as example you are hosting sites at a datacenter. Managed
hosting you buy 3
You have to go into the Jrun.xml and increase the amount of threads and
things and that should do it!
