Email Validation From 6.1 to 7

I just upgraded my server from 6.1 to 7 and just found out that none of my regular expressions are working in forms that validate email addresses. Did I miss something during the code migration? I assumed that the code would work ok on the new server? Any thoughts? cfinput type=text
