I'm using custom error pages for everything. 404's, requests,
exceptions, etc.
They all work, except if I type in
www.theexamplesite.com/junkpage.cfm, it still gives me an
ugly error message. File cannot be found. If I type in
www.theexamplesite.com/junkpage.htm, the correct 404

If this is IIS then there is a setting that configures the web server to check
for the existance of a template prior to calling the CF server.
