Yup, had a user infected having the same problem.. Once his machine was
cleaned all was well.

Just read a post at the CSS-Discuss list where an ISP discovered after the
Blaster worm hit, that

This worm affects RPC, which is used by many things within the OS to
communicate with other things. In general, if there are problems with RPC,
