Any reason why a service in automatic mode wont start automatically? Sure. Services may have to wait for other services to release some resource before they can start. You can fiddle around with the order of service startup using the DependsOnService registry key. Dave Watts, CTO, Fig Leaf

There is also a delayed start option on windows 2008 I'm under XP. I suspect there is some time limit problem, the JRun server taking too long to start. But where can I set this time limit ? ~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion
