Anyone ever used DTS to migrate data from MS Access to MySQL? I've
installed the MyODBC driver and created an ODBC connection then I'm
using DTS to export the data from the specified access db to the mysql
db. It creates all tables, but when inserting Memo type columns (I
think) it gives this error

database. That works fine. I am them attempting to run an Oracle Stored
Procedure to update my data. I can execute the stored procedure from
SQLPLUS and can call it from a cfm page (CFMX) with no errors.

Hello, I may have just done something stupid.
I was attempting to transfer ONE table from a temp DB to a live database
using the transfer objects DTS Export Wizard. I got to the screen that asks
if you want to transfer all objects and I de selected that checkbox. BUT, I
forgot to select the ob
SQL 2000's DTS package allows you to run any Win32
process or batch file via a "Execute Process Task".
You can use this to run the unzip program before you
import the data. I don't think this is available for
SQL 7.
