There is a simple CF tag called CF_imagesize in the tag gallery which will return dimensions for GIFs and JPGs. Can't remember if it'll work for progressive JPGs though. Anyway, thought I'd mention it 'cos it's probably faster that a CFX if all you want to do is get the image size. Mark A
