We use ewebeditpro 2 in a content management tool.
I can highly recommend this.

I have to say, we've been VERY happy with it. Installation was a snap -- we
were upgrading from that old, free ezedit thing -- and it dropped right in.

We just purchased soEditor pro unencrypted last month and I installed
several instances of it for one client. I did have a few technical issues
which turned out to not be bugs, but problems that I needed to handle on my
own end. The support for soEditor is very good. There is a very active

For decent functionality when you can guarantee that the browser is IE,
soEdit is good. (It really just utilizes native browser functionality)
However, eWebEdit supports Netscape (Java?) and has a pretty rich
JavaScript API you can program against (among many other flexible
features). Functional
I haven't used it as much as ewebeditpro, but the little I have, I like it
alot better. It seems that Ewebeditpro has got just to much overhead ..
seems very klunky compared to their version back in 1.5 era.
