Sounds like your JRun connectors might have been removed so .cfm files
are no longer associated correctly anymore.
What exactly where the modifications made to your server?
You might need to run wsconfig to fix. Is this CF standard or
enterprise?
What version of IIS do you have?
In IIS 6, if
I believe they were wanting to change the default folder.. for example
if you just typed in https://server:100/
it would take you to a different directory.
The email they sent out says try to create a virtual directory in
staging pointing to prod directory..

Based on what you say, and assuming that .htm pages load fine, I
would say that you are correct in your assumption that the CF
server is not running. I would try to stop and start it from the
Services menu under Control Panel/Administrative Tools (or
something like that).
