What I meant to say is you cannot run the SQL Server clone
in Access 2000 and SQL Server 7 on the same box (I'm told)
What do you mean by "the SQL Server clone"? If you mean MSDE, you're
probably right that you can't run it and SQL Server 7 on the same box. MSDE
isn't run in Access 2000,
Anyone know what needs to be installed on a server
so Access 2000 databases will verify with CF Server?
Thanks

This isn't correct. As long as you have MDAC 2.1 or higher installed, you
can create new Access databases and/or create ODBC datasources to

: Requirements for Access 2000
I have three dev machines (CF 4.01 on NT4 SP5, CF4.5 on WinNT4 SP5 and CF4.5
on Win2k - all with MDAC 2.5).
All three have MSSQL7 installed and are connecting to Access97, Access2000
and SQLServer7 datasources without any problems, without having Access 97 or
Access2k
don't believe the MDAC drivers that shipped with 4.0x supported
Access2k but I could be wrong on this.
