This file, cfcexplorer.cfc, appeared in my C:\inetpub\wwwroot\CFIDE\componentutils folder on 1/5/2013. Should I be concerned? Is this a valid file? Thank you for your advice. Re: cfcexplorer.cfc
This file has always been in the admin. But if you haven't done a CF update lately I would check it put. Is 1/5 the create or modification date. This is the file used to generate human-readable CFC documentation. It may have been updated the last time you patched the server - honestly, I'm not sure what's been in the latest updates. It was updated as part of the most recent update, although it was from an earlier hotfix. I suspect it was the big security one that came out a few weeks back. Anyway, it's a legit CF file. -- Adam ~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/message.cfm/messageid:354770 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/unsubscribe.cfm
RE: cfcexplorer.cfc
Dave, that is what I have found in my research too. The guys at Viviotech are applying the latest hotfix to my server tonight -- apparently there was a new hotfix released a few days ago? All of my sites are running and the server shows no anomalies. I will stand down from high alert. =) Thank you very much. Hope you have a great weekend. RE: cfcexplorer.cfc
Thanks, Adam. I saw that some application.cfm files were updated here and there too, but I think you are right, it was from the recent big hotfix. Re: cfcexplorer.cfc requires RDS password
On one of our servers, the /CFIDE/componentutils/cfcexplorer.cfc is requiring an RDS password to access. Of all the ColdFusion (7.x) instances we have, I have never seen this happen.
