Worth noting that you've been able to run FarCry direct from the webroot since the release of 5.0 earlier this year. I published a video of installing FarCry by dropping into the webroot on OpenBD (of all things) last weekend as fate would have it: http://www.farcrycore.org/tv Oh cool, thanks Geoff... I was looking at some info about FarCry last week and still seeing a webserver mapping described as a requirement for installation, although I honestly couldn't tell you where I was at the time... so I guess I may not have done a good job of checking to make sure I was looking at current info when I read it. onTap Framework FAST Installation videos
Just published two new videos on the onTap Framework's new official site http://on.tapogee.com showing the framework's drop-in architecture and the plugin store. These two things are very similar to announcements made by Gert Franz from Railo about their plans for an appstore and Ray Camden's comments about working on a drop-in architecture for Broadchoice, the company that's been hiring so many well-known advanced CF programmers like Sean Corfield and Joe Rinehart recently.
