Yes, that's what they're thinking of doing. The challenge was handling the
people from the past. If they've not opted in to being contacted (which
Adobe does ask), then Adobe is hard-pressed to contact them to ask that
permission. This is what they alluded to in the call. And while doing it

Mike, your holidays sound like a real party!
As CF evolves, frameworks evolve, and even Java evolve so will the
processes of handling errors.

Seems to me it should become an "opt-in" to be displayed on the Adobe site -
either ask when the test has been beaten - or allow you to "opt-in" at a
later date (with your certificate details).
Sounds easy to me.

I don't know that it will be fruitful to start a discussion of the value of
certs. That's been debated many times, and there are as many opinions. :-)
But I do want to respond to the comment, "But what would be the point if
Adobe wont let anyone verify they're certified". Again, it's not that you

That is very reasonable. Most "inferior" conferences cost $2000 or
more for 2 days.
WebDU is a bargain really.

Thanks for taking interest in this Charlie.Frankly, I think the people
at Adobe who are looking after certification have dropped the ball.As
far as I can tell it's outsourced to someone else, who don't really seem to

The certification is devaluing day by day. Privacy?
Hi,

$760 for a 2 day conferene? And that's the early bird rate, also I couldn't

Having never been before I'm not sure how the price has changed re

Folks, I did get info for you, both an explanation and a solution for at
least some wanting to verify certs.
First, it turns out that the Adobe side of the house had never posted names
of folks getting certifications (for security and privacy reasons). As such,

I've not personally done this, but some of our guys use FOP to do this

Hi there,

Dunno about within the BULK INSERT statement, but if you use DTS, you
can basically write VBscript that did that.
