I'm not sure what Apple copied from IBM. As understand it, Apple was heavily inspired by the work done at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (GUI and mouse to name a few) and that inspire Bill when Apple asked to provide software for the Mac. I guess everyone likes to their mark on things.

Barry - Perhaps I'm being a luddite, but Bootcamp facillitates a dual boot and provides windows with a suitable driver base for the hardware so you can install windows. What exactly would be being emulated? I have difficulty imagining what an App might be doing that would make it run with
