Yeah flash video (.flv) is the way to go...we have a trailer to a kids animation DVD we created and with the amount of traffic we get (20,000 unique per month) it's still super quick..but yes make sure you have the bandwidth..as we do about 10GB traffic a month but that is not just the

If you think you can host it in-house and your looking more at the server
software to do it, Flash Media Server is a good option or if you do not have
much of a budget Red5 is also available.

It might be best to just convert to flv for the moment and stick it up
on the front-end. If we're getting too much traffic possibly look at
other solutions.
