No what Mark is referring to is the debug mappings, but I still think this is only needed for remote servers. As it clearly says if the server is installed locally it can work it out, and I have done this many times with many sites and it has worked it out. But like I said that might be different

Nope - the reason the new project worked, was that I had created a new virtual host for it. It had nothing to do with the folder links. I just blew away my old virtual host, and created a new one, and now it's working in my original project. There must have been something not right with my
