Hi Everyone,
Ok lets Kick start thing off then
I really don't mind which venue we attend this year.
Now that I am no longer Public Transport reliant... I can get anywhere that it
might be held.
I don't know the first thing about Flex - so selfishly I would love to have
them included - I
Andrew, in addition to the other helpful replies to your question offered so
far, I'll add a bit of a contrarian perspective: I don't know that there's
generally much value in worrying about when/how garbage collection is
happening. I'll even say further that some focus too much on tweaking GC
Charlie and others,
I agree with a lot of what you're saying. There are tons of potential
issues that could be more obvious and in need to be fixed before even
looking into GC details.
And it's particularly important to note that there is no overall solution -

mine (hopefully it is constructive). I've only attended a
Great feedback Matthew,
I think all your points are valid, we discussed that having better organised
scheduled meetings would be a good idea.
Wondering about timing now.
Some feel that 7pm is too late to start, I wonder what people think the
ideal start time is.
6pm, 6:30 or keep it at 7pm?
Matt
Thanks for the feedback. I don’t think I have been to a meeting that kicked
off that late.but anyways...
We will certainly take your feedback on board and appreciate you taking the
time to write all that

Hi Dale
I personally feel that 7pm is too late. 6pm would be too earlier for
some people so I'd go for 6.30. But lets see what others have to say.
Perhaps the best way to get feedback would be to run a survey? The
survey could include questions on Time, Location, Topics, Should we

I agree with your last point, Kai. Good one.
As for your contention about some shops being unable to dig into their code
to deal with what may be many problems, I understand that too. But when I
suggest that other things are often the root cause, I do mean to say that in
nearly all my experiences
Yep,
Peter is setting up such a survey, I agree that the time question would be a
good one to include.
