[cfaussie] FCK-Editor with a difference
Hi All I have a need to create award certificates within a cf application however I need to let the end user use a FCK Editor type interface to allow user insert images and text and be able to easily move the images and text objects around the page allowing the end user to easily design the look and feel of the certificates they are creating without any reliance on the user needing to deal with computer syntax. In addition to images and text there will also be a number of data fields objects on each certificate who's data is drawn from a cf query eg the name of the recipient as one example The output would then need to be displayed in the browser and then converted to a pdf file Does anyone know of any FCK Editor type modules or similar that would be able to readily achieve the above within a CF application environment. [cfaussie] ColdFusion Hosting Solutions in AU
Hi guys, I'm building a website by using FarCry as its backend CMS and I am trying to figure out what kinds of CF hosting packages are out there in AU. In particular I'm looking for a relatively cheap, affordable but still robust CF hosting service. Can anyone please give me some suggestions? Thanks, Xiaofeng -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups cfaussie group. To post to this group, send email to cfaussie@googlegroups.com. I only really host what I build, but the servers are in Brisbane (where I am). Re: [cfaussie] ColdFusion Hosting Solutions in AU
I'd say it entirely depends on the type of the site and application. Also - depending on the customer you might have legislative issues with hosting content NOT in AU/NZ (happens _very_ often with government). I’m not convinced speed / latency is really an issue these days. However, hosting in Australia because you want someone local you can talk to isn’t a bad idea. Just not sure if I would care where their servers are located. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups cfaussie group.
