Whatever Adobe are doing to promote CF in Australia it is not as much as Firmware used to do. Firmware, a tiny company compared to Adobe, with comparatively minuscule resources ran CF seminars and demonstrations which attendees like me who knew nothing of CF were blown away by the ease of development. After my first seminar, they sold me my first copy of CF 4.0 on the way out and there were others in the queue eager to hand over their dosh and get into CF! So, yes, designated resellers with some incentive to sell CF to Corporates, Govt, Everyone! [cfaussie] OT - Error Could not find a JVM
Hi Guys, Sorry about the OT post but I have tried other lists, JRun/Google etc and no luck. I have installed CF8 and JRun4 on a Macbook Pro running OS 10.5. Whenever I try to start either CF or JRun, I get the message: Error Could not find a JVM I have checked in System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions and I have JVMs from version 1.3 to 1.5 I have tried editing various jvm.config files (keeping back-ups) but so far still can't find a jvm. Yep, still getting this error and eWay say they haven't changed anything. I wrote the XML response from eWay to a text file so that I could see what was returned. It was in fact not XML at all, it was just the words Connection Failed so it's hardly surprising CF could not parse it. eWay say they have no clue as to why this happens or where it comes from. Still no closer to solving it.
