I have been using 1.3 since it was released...
I love it and with the aptana eclipse plugin
(http://www.aptana.com/blog/) and sub eclipse im a very happy web
developer.
I am finding that since upgrading to eclipse 3.3 I have had less crash
issues also (my mac used to crash quite often).

Eclipse is getting a little faster with the improved Swing speeds in newer (Java 5+) JVM's. I use it at work for Java as it is free and it's something my company (as well as most) loves to do (keep costs low). Since I use Linux for my main box now (for server reasons) there is nothing out there
Good tips Shane. Mark Drew is coming into my work next week, so if anyone has any questions that ya would like to know how he answered when asked in person (put on the spot) let us know and I'll askM@who's currently listening to a teach yourself Icelandic cd on his ipod :S.

This is a great tool though, i was using dream weaver before.
I havent noticed any bugs yet, and it seems to give me all of the
functionality i had with dream weaver, but it is early days yet

for all it's limitations and clunky-ness, I found the core features of
Homesite 5.5 - the code editor and code parsing - rock solid... (as it
should be being the main function of the thing)
I've also found Flexbuilder's code
While on eclipse etc, I'll say thisthere is no such thing as being elite solely because of the editor you use,eclipse is great and so is dreamweaver, I run across some devs who think if you use eclipse that means your super uber duber great and if you use dw your backwards and have no idea how to
One of the problems I had was it only runs with Eclipse 3.2, so I'm
unable to run it with Flex Builder. (With all Flex builder bits running
properly at least).
The other thing is that syntax parsing errors seem to still occur, but
in different areas.
