The only Australian and New Zealand conference aimed specifically at the
hardcore*** end of ColdFusion development is back in 2010. Come November 18
and 19 of this year, we'll be picking up where we left off with a bigger and
better event than last year.

We have an awesome new venue, great people on the organising committee and a
totally revamped sponsorship programme. This year, cf.Objective(ANZ) will be
held at Melbourne's Rydges Hotel. The public call for speakers is now open. If
you're interested in coming to Melbourne to present on a topic that fits into
the "ColdFusion Enterprise Development" theme, we'd love to hear from you.

Topics we're looking for fit into (but are not limited to) the following major
categories:

Architecture and Design:
OOP & Design Patterns, Frameworks, Modelling and Business Analysis, Refactoring
legacy code, Persistence etc.

RIA and CF:
LC DS with CF, Using jQuery with CF, BlazeDS, Messaging, Integration of the PDF
technology etc.

Process and Methodology:
Agile Development, SOA, Managing large CF architectures, Managing clusters etc.

Integration and Testing:
CF and Java, Build and Deployment processes, Subversion, GIT, Writing CFBuilder
extensions, Server tuning, JVM Tuning, Unit Testing, Third-party technologies
etc.

Please let us know by April 30 2010 if you're interested by emailing
speak...@cfobjective.com.au with a short blurb about yourself and abstracts or
session proposal of the topics you'd be interested in presenting.

cf.Objective(ANZ) will provide speaker accommodation for the night of the 18th
to the 19th of November 2010 at the conference venue. At this stage we
unfortunately can't provide any further financial assistance with travel cost
or other expenses.

We're very excited about this year's conference, and we can't wait to hear from
you - so start readying your presentations, and prepare your arguments for the
boss!

Cheers,
Kai & Justin for the whole cf.Objective(ANZ) steering committee

*** Note: this particular metric will be judged by our hard-to-the-core metal
queen, Kay Smoljak. Be ready ;)
