*Job Title: Senior Network Engineer* *Duration: Minimum of 6 months* *Location: San Antonio , Texas* Required Experience: Minimum 5 years data network experience required. Minimum 3 years LAN/WAN design, deployment, maintenance, and support experience required. Experience in operating a large scale network utilizing BGP, RSVP, MPLS, ISIS and/or OSPF Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA): Strong knowledge of border gateway protocol (BGP) and enhanced interior gateway routing protocol (EIGRP) Solid knowledge of LAN switching protocols and WAN components. Advanced in Cisco Data Center Advanced Technology Solutions expertise (Nexus, IOS for 7Ks, 5Ks, 2Ks and 1Ks). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Visio or similar workflow products. Strong knowledge of 4G and VSAT configuration Strong proficiency in network bandwidth management and network monitoring and management tools. Advanced skillset in Routers, Load balancers, firewalls, CMTS, associated protocols, Multicast and unicast, MPLS, IP management, DNS, traffic management Proficiency in network security utilizing Cisco ASA, and Palo Alto firewalls. Education Required: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field required. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification required. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification preferred.
