Please find the below Job description and let me know your interest. *Position: Junior QA tester* *Location: Scotts Valley, CA* *Duration: 6+ Months Contract* *Need Locals to Bay Area, CA Only* *Max Rate is $35-40/hr on c2c* *Healthcare domain/ EDI experience is Must* *Primary Responsibilities: * • Uses an understanding of business processes, software release requirements and test methodology to define and execute test cases for custom applications, integrations and reports. • Participates in Agile meetings and contributes to documentable, clear and testable User Stories and Acceptance criteria • Creating and executing test cases and ensures that the software tested meets the provided functional and non-functional requirements; • Ensures the traceability and reuse of test plans and test cases. • Ensuring all issues are clearly documented in the issue tracking system; • Working closely with development team to facilitate resolution of errors and issues; • Using Microsoft Office Suite to communicate and document. *Job Requirements* • 2+ years of hands-on QA Testing experience in documenting and executing test cases/steps, test suites and test plans in Microsoft Test Manager or equivalent. • 2+ years’ experience in functional and non-functional testing; • Working knowledge of the Application Lifecycle Management/Software Development Life Cycle; • 2+ years’ experience in identification and reporting of software defects using a defect (Bug) tracking tool; TFS, JIRA • Experience with EDI is a plus • Experience in writing SQL queries • Experience in analyzing business requirements and documentation; • Experience in generating and analyzing quality metrics and trends; • Experience in documenting and supporting User Acceptance Testing; • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. • Experience in defining and using test data sets; • Experience in Third Party software verification, integration and data mapping • Experience in health care is a Plus • Understanding of Test Automation is a Plus • Experience with Microsoft Coded UI Test Automation is a Plus • Experience in testing SQL based reports is a plus; • Experience in executing automated test sequences in Visual Studio is a Plus Best Regards, *Pruthvi Raju* *Technical Recruiter* *IDC Technologies Inc.* *1851 McCarthy Boulevard, Suite 116, Milpitas, CA – 95035* *Phone:- 408-648-0957* *Email:- **prut...@idctechnologies.com* <prut...@idctechnologies.com> *Website:- **www.idctechnologies.com* <http://www.idctechnologies.com> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT_ Jobs" group.
