Title: EDI Consultant Type: Contract Duration: 3 months Location: NYC Rate: up to 35/hr corp-corp Interview process: Phone and On-site required Required skills: EDI and Excel Industry: Retail No H1B *Duties and Responsibilities:* · Coordinates daily EDI in/out transmissions. · Receives daily EDI transactions from retailers, 3PLs, Factors. · troubleshoots automated processes for inbound EDI. · Maintains and troubleshoots Transaction Maintenance for processed EDI. · Supports Customer Service Department with EDI related issues and provides raw data on demand. · troubleshoots automated processes for outbound EDI. · Controls transmissions and acknowledges daily EDI with all partners. · Participates in resolving VAN/customer EDI issues. · Accepts EDI maps delivery for testing. · Maintains Control Table setup for each transaction per partner. · Communicates to EDI solution provider new EDI map specs. · Refines functional specification and participates in technical documentation creation. *Qualifications:* · Minimum 5 years of IT software experience. · Map Maintenance a plus · understanding and familiarity with all industry standard EDI transaction sets · Demonstrates interest and familiarity in ANSI X12 standards and new initiatives. · Solid analytical and EDI process problem solving skills. · Strong personal team collaborating skills. · ERP knowledge a plus *Thanks* *Ankit Nagar* *Sr. Recruiter | Source Infotech Inc.
