Title: Sr. Oracle Developer
Location: Houston, TX
Period: 6 month plus
Rate: Open
Sr. Oracle Consultant needed at a Masters/Instructional level do assessments
for Oracle Server and Oracle Internet Directory. There is no remote access
to the
Oracle Servers. will be working directly with 2 SR DBAs. They prefer the
person not to be in the office daily so they can make the
changes/adjustments.
The environment is Oracle Server 10.1.202 mapping into Oracle 10.1.202
databases.
Must have knowledge of Oracle Server 10.1202 and Oracle Security.
Must understand advance Oracle Security options Solaris Database Servers and
Windows Client Server experience.
Performance: To assess the performance of the OID system as a naming service
as well as an authorization engine and to provide recommendations for
improving performance of those functions at both the client and Lightweight
Directory Access Protocol ("LDAP") server levels.
To provide advice on detection methods and risk mitigation to deal with a
recurring problem where the Oracle Internet Directory "locks up" preventing
additional new connections to databases.
