Hi folks, Greetings from my new team at the Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL) at United Nations Foundation, where we’ve just launched the new DIAL Open Source Center. It might interest some of you who have interest in open source software (or are using it in your T4D work). TL;DR: We’re forming a collective group of projects, designed to help other folks building ICT4D/humanitarian open source software, to fill in resource gaps and collaborate across sectors to be more effective … and reach more people. We're running periodic small grants for open source projects to take on targeted types of work. Our first round of funding is for mini-projects up to $25,000 USD, with a 1-2 page proposal, and we're actively soliciting interested projects through the end of next week.
