The PeaceTech Lab based out of Washington DC is an international NGO that works 
at the intersection of technology, media, and data to help reduce violent 
conflict around the world.

We're posting a new, yet pivotal position that supports one of PeaceTech Lab’s 
growth areas: educating the next generation of humanitarian engineers.

The Peacebuilding Engineers Program will sharpen the skills of talented young 
technologists and engineers and will give them the opportunity to serve 
communities in conflict zones around the world who are working to create 
sustainable peace. We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial thinker/doer 
who can motivate, teach, mentor peacetech entrepreneurs in the field, while 
embracing the core values of peacebuilding.

The Executive Director takes the lead role in the Peacebuilding Engineers 
Program, responsible for organizing and teaching courses, mentoring students, 
further development and planning of the program, financial management, and 
public outreach. The position requires a unique mix of skills ranging from 
teaching and peacebuilding expertise to entrepreneurism and tech savvy.
