norm is that a historic district is first designated local (with review), then
national (mere formality).
Also, I read with caution the Baltimore change of CHAP into the planning
office. DC did the same a few year
Simple question:
Is there a local design review committee for alterations or new
construction within the boundaries of the CV Historic District, or are all
design reviews done at the city level? As a DC transplant, I'm trying to
figure out the differences in historic district review.
