I agree with you John. Let's start a new group in the Dell. The website
allows us to do that. I cannot start or lead another thing but I am willing to
be an active follower if someone steps up.

Just to be clear the part of Wyman Park they are talking about is not theWyman
Park Dell, but the section of the park bounded by Tudor Arms Rd,37th Street,
Beech Ave and Stoney Run.
I am interested in creating a bocce court in the Wyman Park Dell.

the neighborhood in forming a team to join the Wyman Park Bocce league
which (I think) meets Thursdays at 6:30. Information about the league may

I just checked out the Baltimore Bocce League link that Chad Abrams just
supplied and I think I have just figured out that the Hampden Group lists
Wyman Park as the location, for league play at 6:30 pm on Thursdays starting
July 12. You can signup between now and June 30 as a member of a team,

I think I misunderstood the original message. When I went to the groupon
link I noticed that Wyman Park was not on the list of locations. So I
concluded that the writer of the original message was suggesting we start one
in
Wyman Park on Thursdays and not that one already existed. Never
Though I don't have time to participate in a league, I think itis a great idea.
I am hoping someone will construct a bocce court inthe Wyman Park Dell.

There is actually a league ... w/ groups playing at 4 different locations
around the city. See web-site for more details.
I was going to try and head to Wyman Park next Thursday to check it out.
