I just called 311 and the word is that the crew is trying to get the
repairs done as quickly as possible.
No estimate on how long it will take, and I asked twice.

We and the Olsons have no water -- taps dry. We're going to each call
311, and I encourage other neighbors to call the city!

Here on the 3000 block of Guilford, the water this morning and last
night was a little bit brown. That generally happens when work on the
water system is going on somewhere, even a few miles away.

Update: Just chatted with some city water dept. work crews who are doing things
at various points on 31st between Abell and Greenmount. Most I could get out
of them was that yes, the repair they're doing is causing the outage and that
it the outage last "not days" but "a while."

On the off chance that anyone else around here is home -- does anyone have
running water? Our house on the 3100 block does not. Noticed fire hydrants
spewing water and BGE crews out and about last night but all was well last
night and this morning. About to go out to investigate.
