[Chat] insulating tin box bumpouts?
Hi - Just wondering if anyone has tried (and had any success) with insulating the tin box bumpouts on these ol' houses. We have two in our room and you can literally feel the cold air drafting in. We have a couple rough ideas for how to improve this, but I'm just curious if there are any good ideas out there. Hi all: Happy New Year all! Please send me news about your holiday travels, visits, exciting gifts, new year's resolutions, whatever! On an unrelated note, I was taking a tour of the houses that have entered the most recent version of the Painted Ladies Contest and found myself in Hardwod on Whitridge. I noticed lovely glass house number signs on many of the houses. Can anyone tell me the back story?? There is a woman in Harwood named Tamara Payne who makes the glass mosaic house numbers. Odette can tell you more. Maya, would you please describe what a tin box bumpout is. I've lived around here for a total ofs 30 years and have never heard that phrase.
