Many of the trees on Guilford Ave were butchered so that surveillance
cameras installed
at the intersection of 28th Street & Guilford Avenue could be more
effective. The matter was
discussed at the last CVCA Board meeting and a meeting with the City
arborist was suggested.

Can anyone give more information about the cryptic message I received
from the CV news list, announcing a meeting about Guilford Ave trees and
police surveillance? The notice was not sent until less than 24 hr
before the meeting, and it gave no background information. Very
mysterious.
