OK, I admit it...  I love hardware, and I love hardware stores. An I've found the prices of small stores to be equal to, and often less than, Homie Depot and Lowes.   People from all around the Baltimore area used to shop at the hardware store by the Boulevard because they had the best inventory

I know Gina's hardware store well in DC, having been a Logan resident for 15 years.they are wonderful, and always have that odd item you need, with friendly faces. (Although I wish she would sell my Logan Circle book at the counter!) How about the abandoned Hollywood video store on 25th Street
