Baltimore to start towing cars from snow emergency routes

Baltimore will tow cars parked on snow emergency routes, according to city
officials.

Remember, Phase II of the snow emergency plan is in effect.

Drivers can park their cars for free in some school parking lots and in
city-owned garages in Little Italy, Federal Hill, Fells Point and downtown
Baltimore.

With temperatures in the 20s today though, digging out one's car does not seem
like a pleasant pastime.

You are supposed to be able to call 311 to find out where your car might be if
it is towed, but I'm checking to find out where the cars will be taken --- and
how much it will cost to retrieve it.

[Chat] Parking?

2010-02-08 Thread Mike Yestramski
I just heard on the radio that, starting tonight, the city will be
towing cars parked on Calvert street. Is that true? If it is true,
provided I can even get my car out... where do I put it? Does anyone
know of any free garages or parking lots in the neighborhood?

[Chat] direct delivery of wine beer

2010-02-08 Thread John Spurrier

Would you like the opportunity to have wine delivered to your home

like residents of 37 other states? Would you want Maryland wineries

and brewers to be able to sell their products around the country?

Here's an article in today's Baltimore Sun about Senator Conway

pursuing her own agenda in opposing lifting the ban on direct shipments:

Charles Village deserves better.

Please let her know what you think.

Thanks,

John

Hi Paul,

Can you tell me what these emails are about? I don't like to open
unidentified links (worried about viruses and worms). I've received three
of these messages from you, with no subject and just a link.

thanks,

Linda
