Evalyn Tyson at Magooby's Tuesday 4/30/13 show at 8 pm
Dear Friends - A lot of you know I've been taking a story telling class at Magooby's Joke House in Timonium to help me hone my performance and writing skills. (Our teachers are comedian Marc Unger and Rain Pryor - daughter of Richard Pryor.) It's been a terrific experience and we are performing our stories on Tuesday, April 30. The doors open at 7:30 pm; there is a $5.00 cover charge and no minimum purchase requirements. Food and drinks are being served. Show starts at 8 pm. There is plenty of parking there. This is a 350 seat theatre - so I'm doing what I can to fill it up! I haven't performed in a theatre in 34 years - so yeah, I'm a little nervous...! It would me a lot to me if as many of you could make as is possible. We've all worked really hard and there is A LOT of talent and the stories are good!
