Michael Treadway reports that a new company Baltimore Trails http://www.BaltimoreTrails.com
will start cheap bus service to Manhattan on May 5th. This is from an email to an AIA list: --- The company is called Baltimore Trails, and their website is www.baltimoretrails.com/. They will run two daily routes (one morning, one afternoon) through the city on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with stops at Charles and Lanvale (near Penn Station, the closest stop to us), downtown, and Baltimore Travel Plaza. The morning run will begin at Pikesville and the afternoon run at Towson. The trip will take a little over 3 hours and drop off in Brooklyn as well as Manhattan (42nd between 5th and 6th Avenues). The price is a bargain at $20 each way, $35 round trip. An important advantage over the companies that now operate from the suburbs is that you do not have to come back the same day to get that round-trip price--with the other companies you would pay a total of $70 or more to return on a later day. A disadvantage is that the evening run from NYC leaves Manhattan at 5 pm--too early for dinner in the city! --- This is great news! --Emil -- Emil Volcheck [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://acm.org/~volcheck _______________________________________________ Chat mailing list Chat@charlesvillage.info http://charlesvillage.info/mailman/listinfo/chat_charlesvillage.info
