Hey Mike -
This might be like comparing apples and oranges, but I recently had
a cat-back system with a Spin Tech crossflow muffler installed on my '88
Cutlass, and I
I have a dilemma. A friend of mine converted his 69 SS to a 700R and I
picked up his just rebuilt M-22 4spd with brand new Hurst Competition Plus
linkage (less chrome arm) also with all clutch parts for a price I could not
refuse.
I would prefer an M-21 for my 65 Malibu. Anyone interested

That's good to hear. I was hoping they were not going to be obnoxiously
loud. I haven't bolted it on yet, but my setup is 3 Headpipes into a
dr.gas x-pipe, then 2.5 out

Has anyone used a product called Red Line Water Wetter in their cars. It's
supposed to drop your coolent temp by as much as 30 degrees???
Any comments appreciated.
I am new to the list, so I just wanted to say hi,
and I have a question. I have had a 68 chevelle 2 door post car for about
5 years now. I just recently found the chevelle tech board (AWESOME
place), and I have heard several people refer to my car as a 300. Can
anyone tell me what that is?

I have used the product in several of the trucks that I've built, and I must
say that I'm very unhappy with the product. Not only did I not see a
decrease in water temp,

Trevor,
The 300 was the base model Chevelle, they went 300,
300 deluxe, malibu, and Super Sport, hope that clears
it up for you,

Hi Trevor:
welcome aboard! The 300 was basically the entry level no frills chevelle.
plenty of fleet cars were 300s. any options on one are a rare item. Maybe a
radio but most likely that would be it.

Sounds
good. It's nice to meet you. Welcome to the list. I'm fairly new and I usually
just listen to what the big whigs gotto say and I learn from them. I have
a 72 Malibu with a TBI 305 with a TH350. Got any pics of your
car?

My door panels on the inside say deluxe, so what are the physical
differences between the deluxe and non deluxe?

The 300 Deluxe was one step up from a 300. The
differences include: a grill emblem, the deluxe on the
door panels as you mentioned, a chrome strip at the
bottom of the car
Hi Trevor,
I see that others have answered your question so I'll just say

Ok, guys and girls,
I decided to give this a try. I put together a forum on EZ Board to see if
we could set up a board for the
discussion of vendors and suppliers and
Can anyone tell me if 65 Corvair buckets are the same as 65 Malibu buckets?
If not, where can I get the stuff to re-cover them. Thanks.
