Hi Clint,
Bill thinks you may know whether there were stock 15 weels and wheel covers
available for the 1965 Malibu.
Thanks,

Thanks Dale,
Maybe an Impala SS 15 wheel and cover is the answer.
That is the way I have always removed heater hoses and this one is so tight I
am hoping to find a better way.
Thanks,

I'm pretty sure that the Impala used a larger wheel bolt pattern than the
chevelle. I don't think that is the easy answer.

You may very well be right, Rick. Hadn't thought of the bolt pattern - it
may be 5-inch vs. 4.75-inch.

I did put new races in the rotors. I checked the inner and outer bearing
against the old ones, I checked the new races vs. the old ones, I checked the
new rotors and hubs vs. the old ones and everything is the same size inside and
out. The only difference is that the new spindle washer

Bolt pattern is the same. Heavy duty truck wheels may be the larger bolt

ha! reminds me of a funny story, well, at least funny to me.
A buddy was trying to get a heater hose off (before we knew Jim's trick,
at around age 16-17). He worked at it for at least 15 minutes.
Pulling, pushing, yanking, cursing, sweating, and just carrying on. He
was pretty mad before
You need to get the right ones. gm66

I'd find another guy at the parts store. Take your old rotors to the
store match them up to get the correct ones. Don't be messing with
your (and others) safety just 'cause it's a little more trouble to do it right.
