I wonder what he thought of "Hanoi Hilton" - perhaps not strictly a war film. While I wasn't in the Hilton myself, many of my friends and comrades were and the flick pretty accurately depicts their experiences. Including (sorry, Mr. Beevor) the upbeat ending. Anyway, if you haven't seen
