Paris-Match, the well-known French illustrated weekly (originally founded in
imitation of _Life_) has just published a special 100-page fully-illustrated
album without advertisements on Churchill, on the occasion of the release in
France of the film, _Darkest Hour_.
It has several superb colour photographs on full pages - the best being the
largest and sharpest I have even seen of Churchill in his Stetson hat and
siren suit relaxing on a garden bench of Chartwell with Rufus II sitting
next to him
There are also excellent still photographs taken when the film was being
shot.
In France, it is a bargain at the price (6.95 euros) - the cover gives the
price for Canada (presumably for sales in Quebec) : 11.99 Canadian dollars.
I do not know whether it will be made available in the UK and USA (possibly
at airports ?)
Well worth looking for, in any case.
