14th International
Central Asia-Caucasus Meeting Starts Work
TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- The
14th International conference of Central Asia and Caucasus kicked
off work here in Tehran on Monday. |

During the two-day conference dubbed 'Shanghai
Cooperation Organization (SCO): Prospects and Opportunities', the
participating domestic and foreign experts and researchers are due to
discuss the SCO's goals and structure, the organization's potentials and
resources and their influence on the convergence of the member states,
expansion of political, economic, security and cultural ties and
cooperation among SCO members.
The conference is also due to cover
such other topics as the SCO's role in regional and international
developments, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Shanghai Cooperation
Organization and future prospects.
